Old mill in the heart of Llucmajor

The municipality of Llucmajor, which lies at the foot of Puig de Randa, is geographically the largest on the island. Llucmajor is a quiet village, typical of the Mallorcan countryside, with narrow streets and a historic town centre with characteristic buildings and modern facades. The square in front of the town hall has been transformed into a pedestrian zone that is full of life thanks to the bars, restaurants and shops. On Fridays, the market stretches halfway across the town from the town hall in Plaça d'Espanya to Carrer del Bisbe Taixequet and from Passeig Jaume III to Ronda de Migjorn. As Llucmajor has numerous cycle paths, the area is often chosen as a destination by cyclists. The capital is only about 15 minutes away by car and the airport about 10 minutes.
